A Frame On The River - Catskill, NY - Catskill Region
A Frame on the River is set on a bend in the East Branch of the Delaware River just a stone throw away from the Pepacton Reservoir. There aren't many spots like this so be ready for a quiet contemplation.
A Frame on the River comes alive in the spring, summer and fall when you can enjoy the river and relax on the expansive deck outside. The East Branch of the Delaware is an excellent trout fishing river, and 7 miles from the house are two other legendary trout fishing rivers--the Beaverkill and the Willowemoc. The river is also great for canoeing and kayaking. There is a huge yard, beautifully landscaped to provide space for sports, cookouts, and bonfires. In addition, the house is surrounded by large outdoor decks that face the river.
Conveniently located 2.5 hours from NYC, in the town of Colchester, on the banks of the East Branch of the Delaware River, this A-frame on the river is the perfect vacation home. The house is located within the Catskill Forest Preserve and Game Management Areas and overlooks one of the most beautiful bends in the the river. 5 miles to Downsville, 15 miles to Delhi, 7 miles to Route 17.
